Learn to perform Stand-Up Comedy, learn to perform Improv, learn On-Camera auditioning techniques and acting skills.

Kids will develop and write their own personal Stand-Up routine from scratch. The course will be taught by well-known stand-up comics and writers on the New York Comedy circuit, each day. They will have improv class each day, made up of improv games and learning the skill of improvisation. They will learn acting and on-camera auditioning techniques for sitcoms and commercials. The last class of On-Camera Auditioning will be attended by a casting agent from one of the major television networks to see the kids and critique their reading. The last hour of each 2 week session is a performance for friends and family where each kid performs their own personal stand-up routine developed by each camper with the help of professional comedians. The show is part Improv performance and part Stand-Up. Camp Kids 'N Comedy is not only for kids who would like to be stand-up comics. What they develop at Camp Kids 'N Comedy not only helps kids with performance skills but gives them the ability to get up in front of an audience, develop self-esteem and add humor to their lives in every aspect.
