CCSA opened in 2005 in response to the community need for private academic and arts education.

The school offers over 30 arts activities in the genres of Music, Dance, Visual Arts, Drama, and Sports. The school partners with public museums, Arts societies, and the City of Pinellas Park to bring the arts to the public. Students achieve above the national average in all core subjects. Latin and grammar are taught beginning in grade 2, with a solid reading foundation established in the earlier grades. Cultural Anthropology and Logic is taught beginning in grade 5. Band is held three days per week for students in grades 4-8. Suzuki piano is required for grades 1 & 2.
