Delphi provides individually-tailored curriculum that allows students to move as swiftly as they can through the courses with full comprehension. Reading, for example, is done on a one-to-one basis so each child can go at their own pace. The teaching methods are based on Study Technology, developed by author and humanitarian, L. Ron Hubbard. In addition to traditional academics, a comprehensive hands-on curriculum is offered that includes PE on a daily basis, art, music, science, and geography. Being close to the beach and La Jolla Village, students have the opportunity to go on regular field trips in the neighborhood.
Week-long summer day camps integrate academics and fun. During the mornings, students focus on academic enrichment; afternoons are reserved for more recreational activities that include swimming, surfing, art, science, and PE. Eight sessions are offered during the summer, with each session highlighting a different theme. |
