Education Programs: Toddlertime, Preschool Storytime, Book Buddies, Teen Time, Annual Poetry and Prose Writing Festivals, weekly bridge lessons, yoga for adults and many more
Summer Programs
: Special summer reading program include events like Yoga and Knitting class for kids, crafts for kids, as well as toddlertime, family storytime, book buddies. Curious George program, reptile and pet care programs, etc.
Membership: Free card to anyone with Ohio address at least 5 years old. $10 fee per year per household for non-Ohio patrons.
Exhibits: Have three built-in display cases with rotating exhibits. Also have displays with J. Bauknecht's wooden sculpture collection from worldwide travels.
Events: Events Happening in 2006 Monthly book/film discussion continues, Poetry and Prose Writing Festivals, Friends group holds book sales and once a year silent auction.

Detailed information about your library We have about 8000 card holders, have visitor agreements for Internet use for non-card holders. Belong to Listen Ohio--can download audiobooks on MP3 players. History

Library started in 1920, present building opened in Sept. 1992 after extensive renovation and expansion. It is a memorial library in honor of the vast numbers of men who served in the armed forces from East Palestine over the years.
