HISA is located on the beautiful Greek island of Paros in the center of the Cyclades, about an hour by boat from Myconos and Santorini, and you can see Delos, the home of Apollo, from any cafe on the waterfront. Nice beaches are near the town, and incredible, isolated coves line most of the island. The main school building is located in the historical Azari Merchant House in the center of the town of Paroikia. This structure was built in the seventeen hundreds and has been completely restored in the original style. The HISA Beach Apartments are a ten minute walk from town along the sea, and a half block off the main town beach in a quiet setting. There is a roof garden there for group barbeques, a small cafe for breakfast and snacks, and free internet service for laptops. Our program offers you single accommodation so you can enjoy the privacy and freedom to investigate and explore things on your own. All rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable, and most have lovely balconies. All have a t.v. and kitchenette, and private bathroom. Outside of your program-scheduled events: walks along Byzantine trails, visits to archeological sites and island artist workshops, the cave of Anti-Paros and the Parian marble quarry, it's up to you to choose how to spend your time We can help you arrange swimming and hiking trips, bicycle excursions, and travel to islands outside our normally scheduled trips. |
