Classroom Programs: A global perspective and peace education are cornerstones at Montessori Visions Academy . Students use the Montessori materials in order to develop in several different learning areas: Practical Life, Sensorial/Geometry, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural. Along with these studies, students also participate in special enrichment courses such as Yoga, Art, Music, Library Sciences, Physical and Health Education, Spanish, French, and Computers.

Summer School/Camp?: Yes, students will continue to learn with the Montessori materials in classrooms daily, and also enjoy field trips and special projects to excite the imagination and stimulate the application of knowledge. Tuition: Annual rates for the 9 month school year, 2007 - 2008, are as follows: Primary Education: $6440.00, Kindergarten: $6860.00, Elementary and Middle School: $7415.00
School History: In 1999, Montessori Visions Academy began, with a foundation set in Primary Education. However, since its origins, the school has grown with its students and flourished into an Elementary and Middle School, providing devoted, Montessori-trained educators to support this growth

At Montessori Visions Academy , it is our goal to guide students to develop the whole person: intellectually, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, this curriculum offers a hands-on learning experience, which builds a sense of self-confidence, responsibility, and independence creating a lifelong love of learning.

Montessori Visions Academy offers after-school, extracurricular courses such as Theater, Art, Choir, Gymnastics, Spanish and French Club, Science Club, Student Government, Chess Club, Karate, Sports and Cheerleading Teams, and Girl and Boy Scouts. A strong community atmosphere thrives through Parent Education Nights, a Parent Teacher Organization, family events, and special student programs.
