Service Description: Support, Education & Advocacy assist for families of individuals w/Mental Illness
Mission Statement:
The mission of NAMI-FAMILYA is to serve families of people with mental illness through education, advocacy and support. The organization is committed to improving the lives of people afflicted with mental illness, offering hope, assistance and education to their families, advancing the search for cures, fostering understanding and combating discrimination and stigma through educational outreach to the community.
Membership Fee: All programs Free - membership donation $40.00
Eligibility Requirements: Individuals living with mental illness, family, friends & mental health professionals
Area Served: Rockland County, NY
Hours of Operation/Schedule: Helpline 10am-2pm
