School Information

Olney Friends School was founded in 1837 by the Religious Society of Friends in Mt. Pleasant , Ohio , and relocated to Barnesville in 1876. Students and staff built the new facilities with bricks made from clay dug from the hillside and fired on site. The beautiful campus, centered around the main building and its bell tower, remains one of the most notable historical sites in the area. Livezy Lake and the surrounding expanses of green lawn, woods, and fields are appreciated for their serenity and beauty.
