Founded in 1914 by the Franciscan order of priests, St. Clare School was opened by the Sisters of the Blessed Virgin Mary as an elementary school where it has maintained a quality K-8 program for the past 93 years. It is currently under the direction of a Holy Name Sister with a staff of 17 teachers.

St. Clare School was recently accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and the Western Catholic Education Association.
