Setting

Latin Culture Immersion has two schools in Brazil: São Paulo and Maceió; one school in Porto, Portugal; and one school in Buenos Aires, Argentina. These options in location offer students a complete and rigorous immersion in language and culture.

The diversity among these cities in terms of language, economics, history, culture and ambiance is extensive; students may choose between various course schedules and concentrations at each school, allowing them to spend several weeks in one city and several weeks in another.

Maceió
Maceió, the capital of the state of Alagoas in the northeast of Brazil, is a safe, relaxed and modern city with the most beautiful beaches in South America. The school is located in the Ponta Verde district, a modern residential area, just blocks away from the beach, restaurants, gyms, etc.

Setting (Contd.)

São Paulo
The biggest city in South America and one of the three largest in the world, São Paulo is considered one of Latin America's most important industrial, cultural and financial centers. The school is located at the intersection of two of the most major streets in São Paulo; Angelica Avenue and Paulista Avenue, and is minutes away from the historic center of the city.

Porto
The second largest city in Portugal after Lisbon, Porto is a cosmopolitan European city with an old world feel, known for its Port wine and Fado music. Our school is located close to the many cultural and historical sites of the city.

Buenos Aires
Known as South America's most European city, Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina, located on the southern shore of the Rio de Plata. We are situated in the heart of the city, close to the Avenida 9 de Julio, one of the most well-known streets in Buenos Aires.
