Interior Design
Do you have a flair for design? Consider turning your talent into a satisfying career. Learn design fundamentals and find out about a wide range of career opportunities. Enhance your classroom experience with field trips to explore the facets of the design industry. The Berkeley College Interior Design Summer Program includes basic theory of Color and Lighting Design, Interior Environments, Materials, Textiles, and Finishes. Each student will have a hands on project with necessary supplies provided. Field trips will explore the facets of the Interior design industry.

Fashion
Have you imagined yourself with a career in fashion that never goes out of style? From buying and product development to display and merchandising, explore these and more. Learn from industry-trained faculty. Visit leading fashion companies to experience behind-the-scenes activity in this dynamic, fast-paced career. The Berkeley College Fashion Design Summer Program surveys merchandising practices, line development, and fashion trends. Retail Buying, Visual Merchandising, and Color and Design will offer the basic theory for this experience. Field trips include behind the scenes activity in designer showrooms in NYC.

Business Administration
This highly interactive workshop helps you decide with overviews of Marketing, Management, International Business, Information Systems, and Accounting. Develop basic business skills by participating in case study discussions and interact with industry professionals. Watch classroom lectures come to life when you visit Fortune 500 companies. The| | Berkeley College Business Administration Summer Program surveys the many paths of business with overviews of Marketing, Management, International Business, Accounting and Information Systems. Interactive workshops with practitioner faculty will highlight the many dimensions of the business world. Field trips to Fortune 500 companies will enhance the learning experience.

Program Information:
Ages 16-24 2006 dates and costs are as follows:
Interior Design - Tuesday, July 11 - Thursday, July 13. Cost- $299
Fashion - Tuesday, July 18 - Thursday, July 20. Cost- $299
Business Administration - Tuesday, July 25 - Thursday, July 27. Cost- $299

All camps have class room instruction for a portion of each day. Many classroom experiences will feature active learning with guest speakers and projects instead of classroom lectures. Field trips are scheduled each day to reinforce the learning experience. Students should bring lunch each day.

Berkeley College has 6 locations in New York and New Jersey: Three locations are in the New York City area - NYC Midtown Manhattan, Downtown Manhattan Extension Center and White Plains (in Westchester County).
