Mission Statement

Transition from structural clinical settings to a more homelike environment for students who may require more time in preparing for home or any less structured environment.

Philosophy/Belief Statement

We believe young men who learn to make ethical choices are better prepared to live emotionally, socially, academically, spiritually, and physically strong lives. We empower our residents to live effectively and productively in a homelike environment as they prepare to integrate back into society.

Program Information

No one is forced to live at Tavasi. Our residents choose to participate in the family style program. The focus is on living an ethical life, and issues are resolved through problem solving with life coaches and peers. Residents are committed to an active and positive approach to living an ethical life. In addition to continuing therapy and academics, they participate in life skills development, recreational learning activities, and community service.

Program History

Tavasi opened in 2006 to serve the male population of students who require more time in a less structured environment to aid in a successful transition to home.
