8 th grade girls with hearing loss learn about and explore their interests and how they fit with careers for the future. They can build a computer to take home, design a personal website, analyze a "crime scene", use a 3-D design to make a magnifying glass, and participate in a simulated mission to Mars.

RIT's TechGirlz Camp for girls with hearing loss entering 8 th grade is a career exploration program on the RIT campus that allows campers to find out about careers in science, computers, engineering, chemistry and more. RIT counselors and faculty conduct activities in English and in sign language
