Focus: The mission of the Western Heritage Museum and Lea County Cowboy Hall of Fame is to celebrate through learning, the stories and history of the people, culture, and industry of this region by preservation, research, collection and exhibition.

Notes: The Museum is closed for new equipment installation until March 1, 2007.

June 1 - Aug 31 Making a Hand: Ranch Children of New Mexico New Mexico Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum, circulated by TREX - the Traveling Exhibitions Program of the Museum of New Mexico, division of the NM Dept of Cultural Affairs, TREX operates in partnership with the Museum of New Mexico Foundation with support for Metlife Foundation, and McCune Charitable Foundation.
