ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Any person who is career-minded and wants to pursue their education in the field of cosmetology, or barbering may enroll at Evans Hairstyling College, with the following qualifications. Have proof of a high school diploma or its equivalent, if homeschooled, a state-issued credential for secondary school completion. For high school students enrolled in our program they must be enrolled under a training agreement with the Washington County School District, or Utah Arts Academy. This documentation must be presented the first day of school. (High school students do not qualify for title VI funding, until after graduation.) Evans Hairstyling College does not accept “Ability to Benefit testing” or Foreign high school diplomas.

At Evans Hairstyling College we strive to provide our students with the Knowledge, Confidence, Hands on Experience, and Skills, that will help our graduates be prepared for employment in their profession.

Evans Hairstyling College opened our St. George location in 1977. Mr Dale Evans was the owner of the first Evans campus in Cedar City Utah in July 1974. Mr Evans and his oldest son Robert opened the St. George campus in July of 1977. Mr Robert Evans took over as the new owner of the St. George location in July of 1978. Currently both Evans schools in Utah are owned by Dale Evans' Sons Robert in St. George, and Derk Evans in Cedar City.
In St. George Robert Evans only son Justin is his partner in owership of the St. George campus. Mr Evans has 5 childred, all 5 of them are licensed cosmetologists, and 3 of them are licensed instructors. Mr Evans just completed graduating his 5th grand child. This campus is a family friendly campus with a large clientele. Most of our students graduate with having worked on at least 500 clients while in school.
