Schedule: Year-round services. Administrative offices are open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Some of our programs open earlier and run later. Summer and school year hours differ among programs

Capacity: YFS serves as many as 10,000 children and their families throughout western South Dakota
Membership/Pricing: Membership and membership fees are required for some of our programs, while other services are provided on a sliding-scale fee or at no cost

History:
Since its inception in 1965 as Girls Club of Rapid City, YFS, Inc. has grown from a lone program with 35 girls to seven major programs that reach 10,000 children and families in Rapid City and throughout the western half of the state. This remarkable growth flows from the agency and community's mutual commitment to the needs of area children and families.
