We realize addiction is a family disease. That, although the addict uses, the family often suffers along with them. This is why we want to hear from you even If you do not personally identify as an addict. If a friend or loved one's addiction left an indelible impact on your life, please feel free to apply.
Design for Recovery wants to help kick start your journey toward discovering a better life. For many, education is a vital part of the process. We believe firmly that the key to ending the epidemic of addiction is in service to others. We also believe that this scholarship will motivate you to lend a helping hand to a struggling addict in the future. It is a chain reaction that may one day reverse the woeful trend that now befalls this country, with drug overdoses claiming the lives of more than 70,000 people every year.
