Education Programs: Preschool Story Time with Stories, Crafts, Songs and Finger Plays. Tween Book Club that meets monthly for 9 to 12 year old.
Summer Programs: Summer Reading Program.
Membership Details:

Library membership is free to all Guilford residents and SAD#4 students or eligible SAD #4 children. Non-residents may purchase a membership for twenty dollars annually.

Library Information:

The world has changed immensely since our library opened. The library serves a population of over six thousand from Guilford and surrounding communities. Patron usage has increased due to the services and materials that are offered including free WiFi, book clubs, and large print material outreach. We have a large collection of young adult fiction, begining chapter books, early readers and picture books along with a large collection of adult fiction and non-fiction. New programs are being added check our facebook page for updated informaiton. The library also has a community meeting area and rooms that is avaible to local residents and organizations to use.

Library History:

The Guilford Memorial Library has served the residents and the surrounding communities since 1903 when the original library association was founded. As the circulating library increased in size an appeal was made to Andrew Carnegie for funding. That request was successful, and with the generous support from the town and many local businesses and individuals the new library building was dedicated on January 25, 1909. The building was listed on the National Registry of Historic Places in 1986.

Exhibits: Different local Artists work is displayed at the library. There are different displays every month.
Events:

We have a yearly book sale. We have varies meet and greets with authors and artists. Lets talk about it book club series through the Maine Humanities Counsel each Spring.
