The original magnet focus was extended day services.
Notes/School Information:
We have teachers from all over the world who are native speakers of French or Spanish. They are certified and highly qualified in their countries. Our student body is an ecclectic mix of nationalities and socio-ecomonic levels. We receive many visitors from around the world, musicians, dancers, and educators who come to see our students in action and have them participate in various activities.
Our students learn not only their grade level curriculum, but are enriched by the language and cultures of their teachers. All grade levels study different French and Spanish-speaking countries in depth each year. They present their research at the International Festival in the spring. Performances of skits, songs, dances, and information about the history, culture, and geography of these countries are presented to the parents and the public in 2 spectacular shows. Students also prepare displays in the school's hallway to show what they have learned about the countries of study.
School Motto: We are the "beary" best
