Curriculum:
UCAS has an accelerated high school curriculum plus college level concurrent enrollment classes plus actual University Classes. Sophomores take high school courses plus some concurrent enrollment college classes. Juniors take one high school English class plus concurrent enrollment college classes plus one or two actual University Classes with other University students. Seniors take all Univeristy classes working toward their college degree.
School Performance: 80% to 90% of the Senior class will receive their Associate's Degree when they graduate from high school. UCAS was named as Utah's top charter high school in 2009. UCAS consistantly scores in the top three of all Utah schools in academic achievement. ACT average 26.

Admissions Requirements:
UCAS is a Public High School with an open enrollment for Utah residence age appropriate high school students. A lottery is held annually in Marth to select the 140 sophomores for the next year. Students enrolling at UCAS should have completed Algebra I, Geometry, World Civilivations, 9th grade English, PE, and Geography. To receive concurrent enrollment college credit the student must have above a 3.0 high school GPA.

Our Mission is to provide a quality public education to a diverse student population emphasizing science and technology in a safe, supportive environment allowing students to earn two years of college credits and their high school diploma in a dual campus setting.

UCAS opened in 2005 as a public charter high school in partnership with the Alpine, Nebo, and Provo school districts and the Utah Valley University. Enromment has grown from 185 student in 2005 to our maximum of 360 students today.
