Service Description: Treatment Center for young children on the Autism Spectrum
Mission Statement:
Journey Learning Center provides a multi-disciplinary treatment approach for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to maximize the development of their communication, social, sensory-motor and academic skills within a single setting.
Membership Fee: individual tuition
Eligibility Requirements: 2-5 years old with evaluation by staff

History:
Journey Learning Center was formed by Mary Villarreal, an occupational therapist who has a passion for children on the Autism Spectrum. She saw many families struggling with a diagnosis and not being able to afford treatment needed for their child. Ms. Villarreal made it her mission to create an interdisciplinary learning environment for young children with an affordable tuition.
Detailed Organization Information:
Journey Learning Center provides year-round services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder utilizing customized treatment approaches appropriate to each child’s specific needs. Strategies employed will include Relationship Development Intervention (RDI), Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Future programming will include equine-assisted therapies, adapted gymnastics, integration of neurotypical peers, and consultation with bio-medical professionals to assist with directing the course of each child’s complete treatment.
