Additional Information
I am one of the many wonderful tutors/mentors here at T.E.A.Ms- Trained Educational Academic Mentors. We were known and loved for years as The Reading Block but have recently changed our name to highlight the depth of our service. We help homeschool families fill in the gaps so that each family member can be better equipped to help the student succeed.
Our tutoring is not only limited to the student. We help the parent brush up on their math, reading, basic writing, and reading comprehension so that they can feel empowered to help their student. We help the students fill in any learning gaps in Math or Language Arts. We give the resources to use in between tutoring sessions, and then during each live session, you have the opportunity to receive 1 on 1 or small group support from your peers and/or tutor. You are given regular updates to see your progress.
Our program is a wonderful and necessary supplement to each student's regular school curriculum. It's especially wonderful for the busy parent who wants to see their student overcome the academic insecurity holding them back.
