Additional Information
Vertical Transport Consulting, VTC, began in 2004 through the joint efforts of owners Richard Humphreys Jr. and Sarah Humphreys. VTC has always offered our clients quality inspections and consultations for a fair price and that is one reason why our customers continue using our services year after year. Not only does VTC offer budget friendly solutions we also feel that full customer support is an important part of running a successful business. This is why we strive everyday to keep our customers safe and compliant by monitoring when inspections are due and helping customers work with their maintenance company when repairs are necessary.
We understand that many of our clients have daily worries, concerns and tasks that may not involve elevators so this is why we step up and take charge of keeping your units compliant by monitoring the entire process for you. Once you are a VTC client you will never need to call us to schedule an inspection; when your inspection is nearing expiration we work with your maintenance company to schedule all the necessary tests and then contact you with the specifics. This saves you the time and worry that you might fall out of compliance with the State. By offering a private login on our website for each customer VTC is the only elevator inspection and consulting firm in West Virginia to offer clients safe and easy 24/7 access to all elevator documentation. And of course we always process these documents with the Division of Labor for you so everything stays on track for compliance certification.
Consulting services unlike most inspections are not mandatory however this does not mean they do not hold real value for your business. At Vertical Transport Consulting we don't believe elevator consulting services are only for large companies with big budgets. Any owner of an elevator can benefit from a third party's review of their maintenance contract or equipment. Unlike a maintenance company VTC does not sell elevator equipment or repair elevators so we have no interest in recommending unneeded repairs or modifications. Our concerns are simply the safety and efficiency of your elevators and escalators.
