Mission Statement:
Bay Path Regional Vocational High School is a multifunctional educational facility established to serve the needs of a diverse population in the Southern Worcester County Regional Vocational District. It is the mission of the school, in cooperation with the district to provide an integrated academic and vocational technical education. Our students are being prepared with a broad range of knowledge and job skills necessary to function effectively as productive and contributing members of multi cultural communities.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School is a multifunctional educational facility established to serve the needs of the residents, especially the youth, of the Southern Worcester County Vocational School District. It is the intent of the school to provide a strong foundation in academic, I; vocational and technical education that will provide students with a broad range of skills necessary to function in society and to develop optimal plans for lifetime learning.
The vocational technical responsibility of the school is to offer students the necessary knowledge to develop vocational/technical skills, work attitudes and ethics necessary for a successful career or post secondary education.
The academic responsibility of the school is to offer students the essential knowledge and experience requires for a meaningful and productive life. Academic studies provide students, in accordance with Massachusetts Educational Reforms, foundations from which to expand skills, ideals, attitudes and behaviors necessary for vocational/technical careers or post-secondary education.
The philosophical and educational objectives are effective with the support of the school district, community and advisory boards. It is the intent of the school to make available a wide range of services to the district and out-of-district communities. The district residents interested in furthering or expanding their education are provided with opportunities to do so through the undergraduate, post-graduate and evening school programs. The school also services district residents by allowing them to utilize the vocational services. In addition, the school's physical plant is available for community activities. In seeking to continually improve the school's programs in an ever-changing world, we provide students equal opportunities in all programs and services. It is our responsibility to provide the highest quality of education. Bay Path Vocational Technical High School graduates are expected to be capable workers and well-rounded citizens in multi-cultural communities.
