Welcome to our exciting 3rd Year Sewing Summer Camp, a fun-filled and hands-on experience for kids and teens!
This camp is designed to introduce young minds to the wonderful world of sewing while nurturing their creativity and building valuable skills. Whether they're beginners or have some sewing experience, this camp offers an engaging and supportive environment for children and teenagers to explore their passion for fabric and thread.
Camp Activities:
-
Basic Sewing Skills: Campers will learn essential sewing skills such as hand stitching, machine sewing, measuring and cutting fabric, and using sewing tools safely. Through fun and interactive exercises, they will master the basics of sewing techniques and gain confidence in their abilities.
-
Exciting Projects: Each day, campers will work on exciting sewing projects tailored to their skill level and age group. These projects will be a perfect blend of practicality and creativity, allowing campers to create items they can use and be proud of. Projects may include designing and sewing tote bags, stuffed animals, pillowcases, aprons, fashion accessories, and more!
-
Fashion Design Exploration: Campers will have the opportunity to unleash their inner fashion designer by creating their own unique clothing pieces. From sketching designs to selecting fabrics and patterns, they will learn the fundamentals of fashion design and bring their creations to life through sewing.
-
Upcycling and Recycling: We'll encourage campers to think sustainably by exploring upcycling and recycling techniques. They'll learn how to transform old garments or fabrics into new, fashionable items. This eco-friendly approach will ignite their creativity and teach them the importance of repurposing materials.
-
Teamwork and Collaboration: The camp fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration, where campers can interact, exchange ideas, and support each other. Group projects and challenges will encourage campers to work together, problem-solve, and develop communication skills.
Our experienced and enthusiastic instructors will guide campers every step of the way, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for learning and exploration. All sewing materials and equipment will be provided, and campers can bring their own sewing machines if desired.
Join us for this exciting Sewing Summer Camp and give your child or teen the opportunity to discover their passion for sewing, unleash their creativity, and develop lifelong skills. It's a summer experience they won't forget!
Note: Camp activities and projects may vary based on the age group and skill level of the participants.
Kids and Teen Sewing Camp will give the student the ability to learn new skills in a short time!
In this camp we will learn any variety of the following items:
- Personalized Pillow
- Quick tote bag
- Cool summer shorts
- A Summer Hat or a Page Boy Hat

Any of the items will help increase their ability on how to:

- Pinning things in place
- Cut from the pattern and the fabric
- Sewing straight lines
- Hand-sewing and hemming
If a student has attended classes prior, he or she will pick up where they left off then continue with a new project.
We may not get to sew all of the items mentioned at camp but they will leave with at least one to two finished projects!
Materials for the class are not included in the cost of the camp; payment for supplies is required on the FIRST day of class. The costs are estimated to be about $50 - 60 based on how many projects they can complete in the week. Any balances due are required to be paid in full on the last day of class.
Sewing class can be a very stimulating environment, we encourage creativity and watch Project Runway during class. If your child has special needs, please contact us PRIOR to class and please visit the class policy for more information regarding registration.
