Encountering and Combating Antisemitism in the Classroom
- You will leave the online session with:
- resources on the history of antisemitism
- primary source worksheets
- strategies for teaching students about contemporary antisemitism
- lesson plans that focus on promoting empathy, developing critical thinking, and standing up to hate.
Our Encountering and Combating Antisemitism Teacher Guide will help students better understand the spread of misinformation and develop media literacy to discern between truth and propaganda, which can be found on our website.
Sobibor Educator Training
His Duty is to Talk: Interactive Technology and Bringing The Story of A Sobibor Survivor to Your Classroom
- Learn how the augmented reality (AR) technology works and how it utilizes historical artifacts and information.
- Gain various primary source lesson plans and worksheets that use artifacts, photographs, and Holocaust Survivor testimony.
- Discover how Thomas Blatt's story of survival reinforces the importance of using Holocaust education to inspire a more dignified and humane world.
- $150 stipend available for current teachers. Lunch will be served.
Beyond the Shadows: Teaching the Danish Rescue to Young Learners
In this training you will:
- Learn how and why the majority of Danish Jews survived the Holocaust.
- Gain various primary source lesson plans and worksheets that use artifacts, photographs, and Holocaust Survivor testimony.
- Tour Holocaust Museum LA virtually and discuss how to bring the transformative experience to your students.
- Discover how Sam Kalt's story of survival reinforces the importance of using Holocaust education to inspire a more dignified and humane world.

The free app features an augmented reality replica of an incredible artifact in the Holocaust Museum LA collection.
During this seminar, we will share how to navigate this technology and use it to enhance lessons, including strategies for integrating primary sources into teaching materials and facilitating classroom discussions.
