Curriculum:
ACAA utilizes traditional teaching methods, performing arts and also web-based curriculum that provides for 6th-12th grade students with unlimited course options and the ability to excel at their own pace. Students have the choice to attend classes in a traditional classroom, online anytime and/or in a Teacher supervised learning lab or all three.
Many schools simply provide courses, curriculum and use repetition as their teaching method. Although this is important, ACAA takes it a step further by integrating art within our teaching methods. So a science teacher uses guitar to help explain pitch, tone, etc and vice versa. Or a geometry class works with a production class to build and design sets. At ACAA academic and art teacher are paired up to enhance learning.
