School History:
Hampton Preparatory is associated with the Uplift Education network of public charter schools. Our school opened in the fall of 2007 with a mere 160 students in grades 5,6,7 and 9. Today we have over 700 students enrolled in Kindergarten through 1st grades and 4th through 12th grades. By the fall of 2013 we anticipate an enrollment of over 1,300 students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade. We currently have a recognized rating with the Texas Education Agency for the 2009-2010 school year.
