Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Southern California Online Academy is to prepare a K-12 student population for secondary education, college, or careers by providing each child with the knowledge, critical skills, and fundamental disposition to become a self-motivated, competent lifelong learner through a quality online education.

Philosophy/Belief Statement:

The Vision of the Southern California Online Academy is to provide relationships through a multi-age/multi-grade groupings where students and parents remain with the same teacher for several consecutive years. Southern California Online Academy believes this close relationship fosters higher achievement for students and fewer behavioral problems. Research has shown that students experience greater success in school settings that are structured to create close, sustained relationships between student and teacher (Bozzone, 1995)
