Notes/School Information:
The Springfield City School District serves the children, families and community of Springfield, Ohio. Springfield is a diverse community of approximately 65,000 residents. Springfield, which is located on Route 40 (the old National Road), is successfully transitioning from a manufacturing economy to a high tech and service economy. We are well-located between Columbus and Dayton, approximately 20 minutes from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Wittenberg University and Clark State Community College are both located in Springfield, and they are important partners with our District.
Our district serves the majority of the students in our community, and we appreciate the community's partnership and support. Our parents, grandparents, and interested citizens play important roles in supporting our students and our schools. We are committed to the meaningful partnerships we have with our local foundations, our city government, chamber of commerce, social service agencies, faith community, service organizations, and non profits.
Please visit our website for additional information about our District at www.spr.k12.oh.us
