Mission Statement:
The mission of the Wonewoc-Center School District is to provide a safe environment which includes to promote respect, motivates students to learn and to act responsibly. We believe education is the shared responsibility of the student, parents/guardians, school district, and community.
Curriculum:
The district curriculum is aligned with the Wisconsin Common Core Standards in math, reading, and language arts. It is aligned with the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards in all other content areas.

Demographics:
Rural School District, Approximately 50% economically deprived.
Organization Goals: Small Rural School
Scholastic Perfomance: School district performs above state performance in content areas.
Academics: School provides AP courses in the areas of English Language Arts, Science, and History. District provides a strong vocational program in Business, Agriculture, and Tech Ed.
Assets and Achievements: Students in grades 6-12 are provided with a lap top which is theirs during the school year. Each elementary classroom has a 2 to 1 technology device.
The district provides a comprehensive after school program which includes enrichment activities, homework help, and intervention assistance in math and reading.

Summer Schools: The district works with the village and provides a comprehensive summer school program which includes, enrichment, athletics, swimming lessons, and intervention help. The program runs for two, three week sessions, and is well attended.
Teacher Workshops: Teachers are provided with in-service training every Friday for 2 hours. Each semester the staff is part of a book study. Teachers are encouraged to attend content area workshops throughout the year. Each year several teachers attend a national conference.
Vision Statement: The vision of the Wonewoc-Center School District is that all students reach their highest academic potential, develop a set of moral and ethical values, have a strong self-esteem with high personal expectations, and a tolerance and respect for others. We value the partnership which exists between school, parents and the community in realizing this vision.

Libraries: The school Library and Public Library work closely to create a comprehensive program.
After School/Extracurricular Programs: Sports-football, softball, volleyball, track, basketball (boys and girls).

Computer Capabilities:
Students in grades 6-12 are 1 to 1, elementary school K-5 2 to 1.
Juvenile/At-Risk Student Programs: Work with two outside sources JCAN and SCAN as well as the Challenge Academy
