Additional Information
Elevated Class Inc. is a Pittsburgh-based nonprofit uplifting the confidence, character, and future success of Black girls ages 13-17, especially those from underserved East Side neighborhoods like Lincoln, Larimer, Homewood, and Wilkinsburg.
We believe every young woman deserves to be seen, supported, and given the tools to thrive. Our program provides a safe, welcoming space where girls build essential life skills and explore their full potential through engaging workshops and group sessions.
Topics include career readiness, self-defense, hygiene and self-care, etiquette, and vision board creation. Sessions are designed to be fun, empowering, and relevant to the real-life challenges our girls face.
We also emphasize the importance of giving back. Participants engage in community service projects such as neighborhood clean-ups, donation drives, and tree planting to build pride and responsibility.
To expand their horizons, we offer field trips and outings--from horseback riding to cultural events and nature walks--helping girls build confidence, teamwork, and awareness of the world around them.
Guided by our motto, Journey with Intention, we help each girl grow with purpose. In partnership with mentors and community allies, Elevated Class Inc. is building a strong support network that prepares young women not just for today, but for a better future.
