Participants will learn the processes of conceptualizing, shooting, and editing short films, with a focus on developing both individual directorial perspectives and collaborative skills.
The workshop offers a structured approach to improving technical skills and cinematic knowledge. By the end of the program, participants will have produced a short film, which will be showcased at an outdoor cinema in Aegina.
This workshop is open to young filmmakers (18-23 years old) and individuals of all ages who seek to enhance their filmmaking capabilities in a collaborative environment.

- Preproduction: As the week progresses, participants transition into the preproduction phase, where they plan and prepare for filming.
- Filming: The latter part of the week is dedicated to shooting the short films. Participants work in small crews, applying their accumulated knowledge and skills.
- Editing: After filming, participants move to the editing phase, refining their films for the final presentation.
- Final Screening: The workshop culminates in a public screening at one of Aegina’s outdoor cinemas. The community is invited to view the films and participate in a Q&A session led by accomplished festival programmers.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained hands-on experience in all stages of filmmaking, from conceptualization to public presentation. This program not only enhances technical skills and cinematic knowledge but also fosters a deep understanding of how ancient myths can be given fresh life in modern storytelling.
