The Trauma Informed Academy

Teacher Training That Genuinely Changes Things
Most school leaders aren't looking for more professional development--they're looking for something that actually reduces staff overwhelm, improves classroom stability, and keeps teachers from burning out. Especially in Title 1 settings, the question isn't whether trauma affects learning. The question is whether schools have a realistic system that helps educators respond skillfully without sacrificing their own wellbeing or simply tossing every child over the wall to the counselor.

The Trauma Informed Academy for Educators is a structured, long-term training program designed to create real culture change--not just awareness. Schools receive 55 short lessons (1-20 minutes each) that teachers can complete on their own schedule, along with one live training call each month. Over 9-18 months, educators build practical trauma-responsive skills that improve behavior support, emotional regulation, and relational safety in the classroom. One Title 1 school is now implementing the program for the second time, and a second school--led by a principal trained under that same leader--is following suit. We have also implemented the program in Zambia, where behavior improvement and maths scores improved substantially.

The program includes a 12-month term for up to 30 educators ($33,000), plus direct access to the program creator five days a week (7am-7pm Pacific)--because implementation support is where most training models fail. If you're a principal, district leader, or decision-maker looking for teacher training that measurably reduces stress while improving student outcomes, this is the kind of investment that pays back quickly.
