4-H Embryology School Enrichment Program

The chicken egg, with its short incubation period, is an excellent learning tool for the study of embryology. In this hands-on curriculum, students take an active role in stewarding an embryo on its 21-day journey from fertilized egg to day-old chick. The 4-H embryology program is known for improving classroom dynamics and creating positive behaviors with students learning the responsibilities of caring for an animal.

This program aligns with Pennsylvania Common Core Science Standards and takes place in the spring of 2025.
