It is designed and created by teachers, architects and engineering professionals, our hands-on curriculum introduces children age 3-13+ to concepts of engineering, architecture and mechanics using LEGO® and DUPLO® bricks while integrating lessons from math, science, language arts, and social studies. Themes such as Energy is Everywhere, Forces of Nature, US Landmarks, Transportation Timeline, Space Adventures, Interesting Inventions, Machines and more, provide variety and ensure a high level of interest and enthusiasm amongst our students. Our program is designed to trigger young children's lively imaginations and build their self-confidence.We provide all materials for students to work in a lab-type setting using the bricks with an integrated curriculum based on math, science, and language arts.
We offer After School Programs, In School Workshops and Camps. What Bricks 4 Kidz does is it takes building with LEGO bricks to introduce and expand STEM concepts to children from ages Preschool to up to 5th grade. Our typical class consist of three components, a brief lesson discussion of some STEM aspect of the model that they are going to build. Our second component would be structure of the model build. Our third component would be the creative component where they use their critical thinking skills and problem solving skills.
Our Bricks 4 Kidz preschool curriculum reinforces essential preschool skills with a fun, new approach based on the time-tested popularity of LEGO® bricks! Watch their eyes light up as they dig into a pile of brightly colored DUPLO® bricks to create simple yet exciting model builds in a scale designed for their little hands. These classes are designed specifically for preschool-aged children to learn about letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Our alphabet-based curriculum introduces developmentally-appropriate concepts such as:
• Counting • Sequencing • Sorting & Organizing • Positional words
• Patterning • Fine Motor Skills • Auditory, Visual, and Kinesthetic Learning
