Model building provides opportunities for problem-solving and helps kids develop an appreciation for how things work. All this takes place while kids are having fun and socializing in a non-competitive atmosphere.
History:
The Bricks 4 Kidz® model was founded by Michelle Cote (a former architect) in St. Augustine, Florida. Michelle started an after-school Spanish Class (outside the school system). In the spring of 2008, while filling out the forms to become a “School Board Vendor” teaching Spanish, Michelle noticed a category (on the form) for “Creative Science.” Her son loves to play with LEGO® bricks, and she thought to herself, “Maybe I could lead a Creative Science LEGO® class too.” Michelle was awarded the bid for both the after-school Spanish and the Creative Science LEGO® class. That summer, 35 children signed up for the LEGO® camp!
After seeing the excitement over the LEGO® bricks, Michelle decided to go with the LEGO® after-school class in the fall and it took off. That fall, Michelle found herself at three different elementary schools with an average of 20 students in each class every week. Now Michelle does over 20 after-school enrichment classes a week, PLUS in-school field trips, 11 camps during the summer and bunches of birthday parties every weekend!
Today BRICKS 4 KIDZ® has over 500 franchises throughout the world making it one of the fastest growing franchises in the US and Canada.

Field Trip Destinations: Let Bricks 4 Kidz® bring the field trip to you! Our in-school learning experience takes learning out of the pages of the textbook and into an imaginative, 3-dimensional, hands-on learning experience! Use the LEGO® bricks your students already know and love to get them excited about learning. A Bricks 4 Kidz® visit is a fun-filled, engaging experience that kids will be talking about long after the fun and learning has ended. Bricks 4 Kidz models are the centerpiece of the lesson, which includes an educator-scripted discussion designed to engage students in a discovery process. Screened, trained Bricks 4 Kidz® teachers deliver everything needed, including LEGO® bricks, full-color model plans, and take-home materials. Many field trips themes are available, from ancient history to space exploration, covering subjects like simple machines and laws of motion. We can even design a program specifically tailored to your curriculum.
Program Information:
Bricks 4 Kidz classes provide an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where we learn, we build, we play… with LEGO® Bricks. Programs are built around our proprietary model plans, designed by engineers and architects, with exciting themes such as space, construction, and amusement parks. Our specially designed project kits and theme-based models provide the building blocks for the Bricks 4 Kidz approach to educational play. At Bricks 4 Kidz, we believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity. We offer activities for children ages 3-13+, including: After-school enrichment classes, Week-long summer camps, Birthday parties, Preschool classes, Kidz Night Out, etc.. Our programs provide a safe, relaxed learning environment where initiative is invited and self-expression is celebrated.
