Setting:
Large building with areas for school work, snack, arts and crafts and seperate large living-room, playroom space. We have 6 special learning centers where children are allowed free play each day, we spend outside time every day and we have many other activities.
History:
15 years ago I was a working mother who was not happy with the current afterschool and summer care situation. School age children should not be expected to be in daycare so I developed my own program around what children of that age need.
Field Trip Destinations: During the summer we go to Wild Water and Wheels twice a week, we also visit other local playgrounds weekly during throughout the year, we go to local destinations like Brookgreen Gardens, Huntington Beach State Park, beach, and whatever else comes up that we find interesting....
