Classes are held in three classrooms at CSUF Grand Central Building.
History:
This program has been available to Santa Ana High and other schools for the past five years. We are open to all students who apply and parents are involved in the enrollment process.
Program Highlights:
Graduate students and volunteers mentor the students while teaching classes in drawing and painting, illustration, graphic design, installation, sculpture and photography.
Activities:
Field trips to museums and local arts related businesses. Special guest lectures and performances are also part of our programming.
Field Trip Destinations: <p>Orange County Museum of Art, OCCCA, Pro Photo, Bolsa Chica Wetlands, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach.</p>
Program Information:
CSUF GCAC Outreach focuses on offering opportunity in the arts to students with the goal of introducing them to educational and employment opportunity. We set and meet educational and artistic goal. Mentorship and collaberation is also a major focus.
