Dark Knights Chess is a family-owned and operated business that focuses on teaching and promoting chess with people of all ages.
As part of the business, we provide services to local Rio Grande Valley school districts, as well as private services.
Our Mission:
To promote and expand chess throughout the Rio Grande Valley area in a manner that will help players develop and utilize the skills necessary for success not only in chess but in life.
Program Highlights:
Free Thursday night chess, Friday night Swiss round chess tournaments open to all ages, monthly Scholastic Chess tournaments during the school year hosted at different schools and other venues, Group and Private chess lessons, summer and winter chess camps.
