  In existence for 8 years, starting with 25 middle school students who worked with Citizen Schools, the Center has grown to serve 120 students from the Hernandez School. The students now enjoy a rich mixture of enrichment activities along with daily homework assistance.
Program Highlights: 
  Daily homework assistance and recreational activities combined with a wide variety of enrichment classes.

Activities: 
  African Dance, Zumba, African Drumming, yoga, computer graphics, cooking, arts and crafts, building design, urban ecology and martial arts.
Field Trip Destinations: Library, Science Museum, Children's Museum, Franklin Park Zoo, Harvard of Natural History, area fire station, ice skating at area skating rinks, and the New England Aquarium.
