We are located in the back lounge which holds an air hockey table, table tennis table, a basketball hoop game, a large table, 3 televisions, and two Nintendo Wii's with multiple games.
Program Highlights:
We provide healthy snacks for the children when they all arrive and beverages. At least once a month we go swimming in our indoor pool and every Friday the children get to go into our gymnastic's center and play on the different equipment we have available. We also go on fun scavenger hunts around the YMCA and to the near by park (Twining Park).
Activities:
We have the first 30 minutes to work on homework (the teacher does assist and check the work), then 15-20 minutes to eat our healthy snack and drink the beverages provided. Then the last hour we either play fun games, make exciting crafts, or go into the swimming pool or the gymnasium
Field Trip Destinations: We have gone to the SLICE rink in the past and plan to in the future. We do ask the children what fun field trips we can go on through out the year.
Slogan: We build Strong Kids, Strong Families, Strong Communities
