Setting:
The YMCA Safe n Sound Program is based in each school that we serve. Many sites have use of multipurpose rooms, stages and gyms in addition to the outdoor fields and playgrounds.
History:
The Safe n Sound Program celebrated its 25th year in 2009 serving children and parents in Naperville and Aurora.
Activities:
The Y Safe 'n Souond program offers children a variety of age appropriate activities. there are opportunities for both structured and unstructured activities. A typical afternoon schedule might include; character development discussions, activity time, snacks, creative time, homeowrk time and free time. This program is based on the core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Field Trip Destinations: No field trips but specila family events and activities throughout the year.
