Program Information:
The purpose of the afterschool program is to provide quality care in a safe and supportive environment that fosters the physical, emotional and social growth of children, while supporting and strengthening families. We are licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC), and are mandated to uphold all of the EEC rules and regulations pertaining to school age child care licensing. Staff members are carefully selected based on their experience, education, character, talents and inter-personal skills and are trained in CPR, First Aid and Child Abuse Prevention.
While your child is in our care they will have the opportunity to complete homework, eat a healthy snack, participate in physical activities, work on science and art projects, explore the surrounding community, have weekly swimming lessons, make new friends…the list is endless!!! We are lucky to also have volunteers join us to work one-on-one with children, or to run fun and exciting programming.
