History:
Started by Lekha Publishers, LLC in the summer of 2006. Has published more than 100 student writings in their two annual anthologies.
Day camps and after school programs have flourished during the past four years, with over 500 registrations in the past year.
Eight-week enrichment programs started at Delphi Academy, Granada Islamic School, and Bagby Elementary School in 2009. January 2010 will see these programs in four new schools and three parks and recreation centers.
All classes are taught by published authors, poets, or journalists.
