Mountain Eagle Karate Academy Children’s Program reinforces family values such as honesty, loyalty, integrity, and responsibility, and good manners; and introduces goal-setting. Mountain Eagle Karate Academy children are empowered with greater self-control, discipline, and self-esteem, which are tremendous assets to posses in life and transfer to all areas of life. Mountain Eagle Karate Academy children develop an improved attention span, focus, strength, coordination, and flexibility.
At Mountain Eagle Karate Academy we believe every child has tremendous potential and through the study of karate on a weekly basis we strive to make each child aware of the concept of potential and accepting the challenge of exploring it.
Mountain Eagle Karate Academy Adults have the opportunity to learn the art of Shuri-Ryu. In addition to increasing awareness of personal safety and self-defense, self development and improvement are attained. Attributes such as focus, the ability to set goals, self-discipline, confidence, mental and physical strength, coordination and flexibility are developed in an environment of support and encouragement.
Mountain Eagle Karate Academy has been operating in its current location since 2002 and has a highly developed curriculum which is always being updated and improved.
Mountain Eagle Karate Academy is a member of
the United States Karate Alliance (USKA) and International Shuri-Ryu Association (ISA).
Competition:
At Mountain Eagle Karate Academy we have created a fun, family environment and are very happy to help each individual attain their personal goals. For those students who are interested in competition, they will have the unique benefit of being trained and supported by the eight-time and current National USKA Grand Champion and 2007 World USKA Grand Champion Anna Gorman and her coach, Mark Gorman.
