Program Highlights:
For over 27 years, Premier Academy has provided academic support for the San Gabriel Valley. With our afterschool programs, summer school, test prep, and private tutoring, we have helped our students raise both their grades and their confidence. Our slogan is "Learn to Succeed," because we believe that success is a mindset. Our caring, highly qualified teachers all work with each student personally to ensure that they are each on their own, personalized path to success.
Support Services:
OUR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM:
Small class sizes of no more than 15 students per teacher ensure that each child receives the attention and support they deserve. Each class begins with our teachers supervising, helping with, and correcting students' homework. For the remainder of the afternoon, students are taught English and math (with exceptions for students requiring test prep and private tutoring). Premier also offers ESL(English as a Second Language)/ELD and Chinese classes for those interested.
PRIVATE TUTORING:
If your child requires extra attention, we recommend private tutoring, in which students work one-on-one with one of our tutors. Private tutoring is usually recommended for children studying for a particular test or project, those who have fallen considerably behind in school, or for those who simply learn better with one-on-one help.
TEST PREP:
As an official College Board testing center, Premier Academy is qualified to assist students preparing for a variety of tests including, but not limited to:
-SAT
-ISEE
-SSAT
-TOEFL
-AP Testing
