History:
The Quest Zone is an innovative on-site afterschool program created by the educators at The Sunshine House, one of the country's largest child care and early education companies. The Quest Zone, in operation for 10 years, provides afterschool programs for 12 elementary schools.
Program Highlights:
The Quest Zone give students the opportunity to explore various zones designed and equipped for their interests. Zones, created according to brain based learning experiences include: Making Your Mark, Expressing Yourself, Making it Happen, Figuring it Out, Moving featuring NFL Play 60, Homework, and STEM Lab.
Activities:
Project based activities, SAM Animation (Stop Action Movies), Service Learning, and STEM
Field Trip Destinations: Field trips are included in our Summer Challenge Camp.
