To glorify God by: *using His gift of music to inspire and strengthen the minds, bodies and souls of individuals challenged with disabilities using research-based Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT) techniques *providing a service characterized by best practice methodologies, integrity and open communication *creating a supportive network for families *lifting up in prayer each individual and family with whom we work
Services
Rhythm & Rehab provides community- and center-based music therapy services. Best practice methods are predicated on the evidence-based and standardized Neurologic Music Therapy treatment methods. Sensorimotor, speech-language and cognitive-social domains are addressed within a sensory rich environment creating a time- and cost-effective means of treatment.
Services include:
Individual therapy - 1:1 setting addressing individualized goals/objectives; supported with documented treatment plans.
Group therapy - small group setting addressing individual goals/objectives with an emphasis on social skills.
Instructional therapy - adapted piano instruction tailored to strengthen non-musical skills emphasizing auditory processing and attention control in addition to fine motor, eye-hand coordination, and memory; small group or individual settings.
Areas of Focus : Developmental and Neuorological disabilities including but not exclusive to ASD, Down's Syndrome, William's Syndrome, CP, TBI
