History:
Girl Scouts was established in 1912. While the details may have changed (uniforms, pins, badges, etc.), our mission is still to provide hands-on, girl-led activities that build courage, confidence and character.
Program Highlights:
Programs are customized to meet the needs of the schools, the girls, and the community. We offer programs that cover Science, technology, engineering and math; financial literacy; fitness and healthy lifestyles; self-esteem; and traditional badge-work. The keys that make our program successful are being girl-led, cooperative learning, and learn by doing.
Support Services:
We offer financial assistance that will cover the $10 registration fee and material supplies.
Activities:
Activities are all hands-on and girl led.
Field Trip Destinations: Field trips are planned by girls with the help of their leaders.
